NEUROEPIDEMIOLOGY OF SEIZURES

Neuroepidemiology of seizures and epilepsy with specific interests identifying and quantitating risk factors for seizure occurrence, the prognosis of seizures and epilepsy, and the consequences of head trauma.

This study is enrolling patients who have epilepsy and at least one living relative who also has epilepsy. The study is examining the genetic component of certain kinds of epilepsies.

Eligible Participants

It is open to persons with epilepsy who began having seizures before the age of 25 years old.
